ROYAL TIGERTAIL

Family Synthemistidae

A female Royal Tigertail in NSW on March 11th 2011.

It was just on dusk when I spotted a dragonfly hanging in a shrub somewhere in southern NSW on a trip to Victoria. I didn’t see any water close by. It was a Royal Tigertail. Royal Tigertails have been recorded near Armidale so can be found in NE NSW.
